Sun God Glasses

Had the opportunity to create a pair of limited edition sunglasses with my friends at Portland-based Look/See Goods. These "Sun God" glasses are based on the myth of the sun god Huitzilopochtli, and the idea that in Aztec civilization, people were sacrificed to the sun to sustain it. An inlaid metal heart on the right temple show the heart being held. And since the name "Huitzilopochtli" translates as "hummingbird on the left," one was inlaid on the inner left temple. More info and purchasing info can be found here. Photos by Look/See Goods.
