ZENITH

For Seattle-based rap group Grayskul's newest album ZENITH, the theme was around the idea of creative block and getting lost in all of the anxiety and anticipation of creativity. They thought that the cover should have a galactic feel, and we took that and mixed it with the sense of chaos that comes from the overwhelming nature of navigating the creative sphere. The cover pattern was turned into 22" x 30" newsprint posters for promotion, and the ram graphic inside the album is the Aries ram, since both of the artists are of the same zodiac sign, while the back type takes on a constellation-like feel.
